Summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation seeks a strategic fundraising leader to serve as its next Vice President, Major & Planned Giving. This role represents a unique opportunity to build upon a period of significant momentum and help shape the next chapter of philanthropy at Presbyterian.

Over the past two years, the Foundation has increased philanthropic revenue by more than 25 percent and is positioned for continued growth as it expands fundraising capacity, strengthens donor engagement, and prepares for future campaign opportunities. The Vice President will lead the Foundation's most critical fundraising function, overseeing a major and planned giving program that generates approximately 80 percent of annual philanthropic revenue and serves as the primary engine for transformational giving.

This role succeeds a highly respected long-tenured leader and offers the opportunity to inherit an established, successful fundraising program with a strong reputation, engaged donor base, and experienced team. The successful candidate will honor and preserve the strengths of the current program while helping evolve major gifts, planned giving, grateful patient fundraising, physician engagement, and campaign readiness to support the Foundation's next phase of growth.

As a member of the Foundation's senior leadership team, this executive will play a central role in advancing philanthropy in support of Presbyterian's mission. The Vice President will lead a team of major gift and planned giving professionals, oversee the Luminary Circle program, manage a portfolio of highly qualified donors and prospects, and partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, executives, board members, volunteers, and community leaders to deepen philanthropic engagement and expand the Foundation's impact.

This role is both strategic and highly fundraising-focused. The Vice President is expected to serve as a player-coach, providing leadership to the team while maintaining an active fundraising portfolio and personally securing major and planned gifts.

The ideal candidate is a highly relational fundraising executive with a demonstrated ability to secure six- and seven-figure gifts, build high-performing teams, navigate organizational change, and create sustainable fundraising growth. Healthcare philanthropy experience is preferred; however, exceptional fundraising leaders from higher education, academic medicine, or other sophisticated fundraising environments will also be considered.
