What these reports are, and are not
They count JobQuill listings, which come from employers' own hiring pages and USAJOBS. That is a large sample, but it is not the whole job market: it leans toward bigger employers and misses jobs posted only elsewhere. When a report quotes a figure for the whole country, it names the government source and links to it.
