Track every job application in one calm, organized board.
Spreadsheets break down the moment you have thirty applications in flight across five different stages. JobQuill gives you a free Kanban and table pipeline that links every application to the resume you sent, your interview prep checklist and your follow-up dates.
How it works
How the JobQuill application tracker keeps your search moving
A serious job search is a pipeline problem. Between saved postings, submitted applications, recruiter screens, take-home assessments and rejections, keeping track of who you talked to and which resume you sent is exhausting in a blank spreadsheet. JobQuill structures the workflow so nothing slips through the cracks.
Step 1
Log roles in one click, import a CSV or add from the built-in Job Board
Clip postings from any job site with the Chrome extension, import an existing spreadsheet or tracker CSV in seconds, or save live listings directly from the JobQuill Job Board.
Step 2
Move applications across Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offer and Rejected
Switch between visual Kanban columns and a sortable table view. Record salary ranges, locations, notes, contact names and the exact resume version you submitted with each application.
Step 3
Turn interviews into prep checklists and rejections into forward momentum
Moving a card to Interviewing automatically unlocks a tailored requirement and question checklist built from that role's posting. Logging a rejection counts as honest progress and offers a one-click Bounce Back step.
Beyond spreadsheets
What a dedicated job application tracker does that a spreadsheet cannot
Almost everyone starts their job search with a Google Sheet or Notion table. For the first ten applications, a row with Company, Role, Link and Date Applied feels sufficient. By week three, you have forty rows, half of the links lead to expired postings, you cannot remember which version of your resume went to which employer, and opening the sheet feels like staring at a wall of silence.
In JobQuill, an application card is not just a dead row of text. It holds the full text of the job posting you applied to, a snapshot of the resume version you sent, your stage history and your interview notes. When a recruiter emails you three weeks after you applied, you open one card and see the original requirements and the exact bullets you submitted.
Just as importantly, JobQuill is built around the emotional reality of a modern job hunt. Most trackers treat a rejection as a dead end that turns your dashboard red. JobQuill treats logging a rejection as a completed rep: on the first rejection of the day it sets a small Bounce Back quest, on a post-interview rejection it helps you draft a polite feedback note, and on a rough day with three rejections it drops the popups altogether and gives you a quiet break.

One workspace
Connected to Resume Studio, Interview Prep and 10,000+ live jobs
When your tracker, your resume builder and your job board live in three separate tools, you spend half your energy copying text back and forth. In JobQuill, saving a role from our public Job Board (fed daily from USAJOBS, Remotive and Jobicy) drops it straight into your Saved column with the salary, location and description already attached.
When that role moves to Interviewing, Interview Prep reads the saved posting and your linked resume to show you every requirement the employer listed, which of your skills match and the behavioral questions to rehearse before the call.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many job applications I can track for free?
No. Tracking applications, moving cards across stages, importing a CSV and exporting your data to CSV are unlimited on the Free plan forever.
Can I import my existing Google Sheet, Excel file or export from another tracker?
Yes. The Applications page includes a CSV importer that maps columns for company, role title, stage, date applied, URL, location, salary and notes, including exports from Teal, Huntr and Simplify.
What happens when I mark an application as Interviewing or Rejected?
Moving an application to Interviewing opens a free Interview Prep checklist generated from that role's saved posting and your resume. Marking an application Rejected records the outcome honestly, awards XP for closing the loop and adapts its response to how many rejections you have logged that day.
Can I export my applications if I finish my search?
Yes, at any time. One click on the Applications page exports every tracked role, stage, date, link and note to a standard CSV file.
