The job
The Lead Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) position is located in the Gastroenterology (GI Lab) Laboratory at the Miami VA Healthcare System (Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center). The GI Lab MIT serves as a technical expert and will be responsible for answering questions for all staff on gastroenterology procedures and equipment. The position in non-supervisory but carries responsibility for workflow coordination, staff guidance, and technical oversight.
