The job

In 1992 the Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) established the HUD-VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program. The program is a collaborative effort, supported through HUD Section 8 rental assistance vouchers and VA's provision of intensive case management services. The primary goal of HUD-VASH is to move Veterans and their families out of chronic homelessness.
