The job
The Richmond VA Medical Center is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist (BESS) specialized in Intensive Care, high-risk, or surgical equipment within a Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) department at a VA facility. The incumbent works in support of the medical equipment management program. The selected BESS (Intensive Care) maintains life-support, high-risk surgery, or intensive care medical equipment and clinical systems.
