Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

Location:   Centreville, Virginia

Compensation Range

This position is paid on a salaried basis; however, the equivalent hourly rate ranges from $69.00 to $77.00 per hour , depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may also include bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is looking for dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our expanding team. We currently have a part-time opportunity available at our Centreville location in, Centreville, Virginia . This is an excellent chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced urgent care environment while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Part‑Time Schedule Overview

• Total Shifts: 19 partial shifts
• Shift Length: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM (4 hours each)

Breakdown

• Weekday Shifts: 17
• Weekend shifts: 2

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum  1 year of full-time experience  as a licensed NP or PA in an  Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine  setting (required)
• Experience treating  both pediatric and adult  patient populations (required)
• Comfortable performing  minor procedures  including suturing, casting, and splinting (required)
• Proficient in  preliminary reads  of EKGs and X-rays (required

Education

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program (required)
• NCCPA Certification  (required)

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attentive listening and patient engagement

Licensure & Certification

• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Licensed FNP or PA in Virginia
• DEA License
• Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol

Credentialing Requirements

• Successful completion of payer credentialing (Medicare/Medicaid)
• Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges
